I had the privilege of meeting with Jamie this week and we had a great time! Before we met on wednesday we were emailing back and forth and she told me that she was “looking forward to talking to me.”
I was so excited to talk to her that I just didn’t even know what to do with myself!
She has been so supportive and wonderful to me this term. She is going to help me over the summer to finish my history essays. She has also agreed to mentor me during my internship, I’ll be teaching Women’s History at A3 with Nissie, and it’s going to be a LOT of work! But with Jamies help I’m sure I’ll be fine :)
I probably won’t get to see her for another three weeks or maybe even longer so I guess the hour we spent talking on wednesday will have to last me for a while :(
There are just about a million things going on this week and I can’t seem to stay on top of them all! I am currently trying to survive the period from hell and get through all my homework this week so that I can enjoy my birthday weekend (hopefully in the sunshine).
I have to read a book that I put off last week to study for my phil exam. I’ve got a creative writing assignment due thursday that I haven’t really given any thought to. Thankfully I did my phil readings last night. I was just figuring out my schedule for fall term which is going to be absolutely insane! It’ll be another 18credit hour term plus two jobs and my internship!! AAH!!
I’ve got that end of the term lag going on where all I want to do is sleep in and stay up late and the last thing on my mind is writing papers!
